What Exactly Is Home Staging?
Home staging is detailing, de-cluttering, de-personalizing and preparing a seller's home to give it a "model home" appearance so that the potential buyer can "see" themselves living in the home.
This photo is of a home I staged with neutral decor. If your home is painted in a deeply saturated or bright hue, like a pale or pastel shade, consider going with a more neutral wall color. It will serve as a subtle backdrop for your furnishings and make it easier for prospective buyers to see picture life in your home.

It may seem obvious, but often home sellers neglect the return on investment a deep cleaning can bring. I can help you determine the cleaning jobs and repairs that will help your home sell faster. The image above show's a carpet in the midst of a deep cleaning. It's amazing how much value there is in this oft-neglected task.
In the home I staged above, you see there's a place for all of the homeowner's stuff - since it's not all over their family room. A lived in room turns off homebuyers since it's hard for them to imagine their life in the context of your stuff. De-cluttering is a difficult home staging task, because you will shed lots of stuff (or at least move to storage). Don't worry, I'll help you!
